A couple weeks ago I had mentioned that I was designing a cover for a legendary Bay Area DJ - that icon is none other than DJ Kevvy Kev highlighting his “longest running” hip hop show “The Drum 90.1” in a documentary directed by John Reps.
Been so busy at the studio I never got to finish this vector drawing of Levy Tran. Started on this last February, one of these days I’ll get back to it.
When my childhood friend Romeo hired me to design his logo we brainstormed a ton of ideas that gave him more options than I usually give my other clients. Through these comps we tweaked at improved on what would be his final decision. Here are samples of what we came up with.
